How to Redeem Sweeps Coins for Cash: Minimums and Times
Play your Sweeps Coins through (usually once), verify your identity, reach the casino's minimum and request a prize on its redeem page. Of 17 casinos whose rules we read, seven start cash redemptions at 50 SC and ten at 100 SC. Gift cards can start lower, from 10 SC at Spree.
Every sweepstakes casino says Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for prizes. What it doesn't say on the lobby page is how many you need, how you get paid and how long you wait. We read the redemption rules of 17 casinos. Below are the steps they share, then the numbers casino by casino.
The four steps every casino asks for
- Play the coins through. Sweeps Coins you get free or as a bonus have to be played at least once before they count as redeemable. Most rules say 1x. Chanced and Punt default to 3x under their sweepstakes rules, and some, like Chumba Casino and Global Poker, can ask for up to 20 plays.
- Verify your account. Do it before you need it. Checks can take days, and a redemption waits until they're done.
- Reach the minimum. Below the threshold, the redeem button does nothing for you. The minimums are in the next section.
- Request the prize. Pick cash or a gift card on the redeem page. Many casinos pay cash back to the method you bought Gold Coins with, or to a bank account in your name if that can't be done.
Minimums: 50 or 100 for cash, lower for gift cards
Read from each operator's own rules between Oct 2, 2026 and Nov 2, 2026. Brands that don't publish a cash minimum are left out.
The cash minimum splits the 17 casinos into two camps. Seven let you cash out from 50 SC: Fortune Coins, Global Poker, Modo Casino, Sportzino, WOW Vegas, Yay Casino and Zula Casino. The other ten want 100.
Gift cards often start lower. Nine casinos state a gift card minimum, from 10 SC at Spree and 20 at Modo Casino and WOW Vegas up to 100 at Chanced and Chumba Casino. If you only need a small win to clear a gift card threshold, that route gets you paid sooner.
One oddity: Fortune Coins counts its redeemable coins in FC at 100 FC to the dollar, so its 5,000 FC minimum is US$50.

"Not stated" means the rules we read give no figure. Limits are the request and daily caps the rules name; most casinos also say they can change any of this. Each date links to the rules we read.
PayPal, crypto, Skrill and gift cards
PayPal
Only Modo Casino names PayPal, and only after a one-time direct-deposit setup. None of the other 16 rulebooks we read mention it.
Crypto
Yay Casino can pay cryptocurrency through a third-party wallet provider, valued when you redeem. MyPrize pays USDC on the Ethereum network. Nobody else in the group lists crypto.
Skrill
High 5 Casino, MyPrize and WOW Vegas pay to Skrill. High 5 adds a condition: only if you've bought with Skrill before.
Gift cards
Prizeout gift cards are offered at High 5 Casino, Legendz, Modo Casino, RealPrize and WOW Vegas. Chanced, Chumba Casino, Global Poker and Punt send gift cards to your account email. Fortune Coins and Yay Casino offer Visa virtual cards from third-party providers instead.
How long it takes
Many casinos don't commit to a time. Six of the 17 give none at all, and Fortune Coins, Sportzino and Zula Casino only say "as soon as practicable". Among the ones that do give a time:
- Fastest stated: Modo Casino says most requests are processed within 24 hours, with bank or debit transfers taking up to 5 more business days. WOW Vegas processes same business day for its top VIP levels and within 3 business days for the lower ones, and its Prizeout gift cards usually arrive instantly.
- Up to 10 days: Global Poker and Punt allow up to 10 business days for cash to reach your bank, Spree up to 10 days to pay, and High 5 Casino up to 10 days to process before the payment method's own time.
- Up to 30 days: Lavish Luck and MyPrize say some redemptions can take that long. If yours is past the stated time, see Redemption Pending or Denied?.
Big redemptions often take longer. RealPrize and Spree say amounts over US$2,500 may take more time, Global Poker and Punt say the same above US$10,000, and Sportzino can run extra checks above 2,000 SC.
The identity check
Every rulebook we read checks your identity or details before paying. The common list is a government photo ID and proof of address. High 5 Casino, Lavish Luck and Modo Casino also mention a biometric facial scan and Social Security number validation. Fortune Coins, Sportzino and Yay Casino give you 30 days from the request to send the documents. RealPrize can ask for an affidavit of eligibility and tax forms, and both RealPrize and Modo Casino tie Social Security details to redemptions of US$600 or more.

Fees and caps
Most redemptions are free, but not all. Modo Casino charges 3% for Trustly instant payouts. Global Poker, Lavish Luck, Punt and Spree reserve the right to charge processing fees, and High 5 Casino says it charges none.
Caps are common too. Chumba Casino, Global Poker, Legendz and LoneStar Casino can limit redemptions to US$10,000 a day, MyPrize to 3,000 SC a day and Zula Casino to 9,550 SC a day. Several also limit how often you can ask: one request per day at Lavish Luck and Modo Casino, one per 48 hours at High 5 Casino and Spree. In Florida, seven of these rulebooks cap a prize from a single spin or play at US$5,000, and Zula Casino caps it at 4,900 SC.
