Global Poker Free SC: Bonuses, Redeeming, States
Global Poker credits 5 Sweeps Coins per valid mail-in card, according to its Sweeps Rules. You need 50 SC to redeem, after playing them through at least 1x. Sweeps Coins expire 90 days after your last login, and you must be 21 or older.
Global Poker is the poker room of the sweepstakes world: cash-game tables and tournaments played with Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins, with casino games alongside. It belongs to VGW, the group behind Chumba Casino, so the paperwork looks familiar, but the numbers that matter to a free player are different. This page sticks to Global Poker's own Terms, its Sweeps Rules and the notice it shows players in states where it is limited.

The free routes at Global Poker
Sweeps Coins (SC) are never sold. You can collect them for free in three ways, and get them as a bonus in a fourth:
- The Daily Bonus. Your account has to be verified first. Then it's Get Coins in the lobby and the "Claim your FREE daily bonus" button, once per 24 hours. The amount is shown in your account, climbs with consecutive logins and starts over after seven days in a row. Global Poker doesn't publish the figures.
- Social media giveaways. Contests on Global Poker's social pages, each with its own rules.
- The mail-in Request Card. 5 SC per valid card. Steps below.
- Bonus SC with Gold Coin packages. Optional and paid. The free coins that come with a package still need playing through.
Mailing a Request Card
The rules are strict, and a card that breaks one is void:
- Get a Postal Request Code from your account. It has 12 digits, works once, belongs to your account and expires 30 days after it appears, so request it close to the day you write.
- Take a 4x6 inch card or sheet of white paper, unfolded, blank and unlined. Handwrite the code in the top-left corner. Below it, in this order: your full name as it appears on your government ID, your account email, your account's residential address, and the statement printed in the Sweeps Rules.
- Put the card in a stamped #10 envelope, handwrite your return address and "Sweepstakes Entries" on the front, and address it by hand to VGW Games Limited, Global Poker Sweepstakes Department, PO Box #8486, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
One card per envelope. Cards bundled into a package or parcel don't count, and Global Poker decides on its own whether your handwriting is readable.
What it costs. The PO box is in New Hampshire, so a regular US letter stamp ($0.82 since July 12, 2026) covers it. At 5 SC a card, 50 SC by mail alone takes 10 cards and about $8.20 in stamps, before any wins or losses. That is half the cards Chumba asks for, because Chumba's minimum is 100. Mail-In Sweeps Coins puts the same math next to 16 other casinos.
Redeeming at Global Poker
- Get to 50 SC. The Terms set a minimum redemption threshold of SC50. Of the 17 casinos in our rules comparison, seven start at 50 and Global Poker is one of them.
- Play every coin once. Each Sweeps Coin has to be played at least once before it can be redeemed, and Global Poker can ask for up to 20 plays.
- Pass the checks. Expect identity checks before a payout, and the bank account has to accept US dollars.
- Choose the prize. Gift cards go to the email address on your account. Cash goes back to the payment method you bought Gold Coins with, or to another account you own if that can't be done.
Cash can take up to 10 business days to arrive. How to Redeem Sweeps Coins for Cash lists the stated times at 16 other casinos. Global Poker may charge fees for processing a redemption, can limit redemptions to US$10,000 a day, and in Florida caps any single spin or play at a US$5,000 prize.
Where Global Poker is limited
Global Poker's own location notice, re-checked on October 12, 2026, splits the limited states into two groups:
- Not available at all: Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington.
- Gold Coin play only, no sweepstakes: California, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and West Virginia.
In the second group you can still sit at the tables for fun, but no Sweeps Coins and no prizes. Where Are Sweepstakes Casinos Legal? covers the state laws behind lists like this one.
Global Poker next to Chumba
Same group, different rules. Global Poker asks for half of Chumba's 100 SC minimum and keeps Sweeps Coins for 90 days after your last login instead of 60. Do Sweeps Coins Expire? has the rule at 15 more casinos. Both credit 5 SC per mail-in card and both mail to a PO box in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Chumba Casino page has its side of the comparison.
What Global Poker's documents leave out
- The welcome bonus and the daily bonus amounts.
- Whether the mail-in amount or address has changed since the March 2024 Sweeps Rules.
- How long a gift card redemption takes. The 10-business-day figure is for cash.
